Colette bishop
From her Sheffield workshop Colette creates tactile, functional tableware using chasing, repouseé and gilding. After graduating in 2008 from Liverpool Hope, Colette trained at Goldsmiths’ Centre, Bishopsland, and with makers such as Jane Short, Jaqueline Mina, Rod Kelly, Peter Musgrove and Fabrizio Acquafresca.
Setting up her studio at initially at Yorkshire Arts Space, and later at Persistence Works next door to the legendary Brett Payne, Colette creates underplayed, yet beautiful objects.
